The 81021 gum arabic pure is a natural gum obtained from acacia exudates, mainly composed of polysaccharides and glycoproteins. Its high water solubility and favourable rheological properties make it a versatile excipient in the lab: stabilising emulsions, adjusting viscosity, forming films or encapsulating active compounds for controlled‑release studies. Supplied as powder/granules, it dissolves readily in warm water under stirring. As an organic powdered material, it should be handled to minimise dust and stored away from heat sources. Depending on the intended use (food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic), additional regulatory requirements may apply; users must check regulatory compliance and refer to the SDS.

Technical features

Product name: Gum arabic
