Porcelain
The porcelain crystallising and evaporating dishes from AllChimie are the reference for high-temperature thermal operations. Glazed porcelain offers a smooth, non-porous surface, easy to clean and resistant to dilute acids and bases.
These vessels support continuous working temperatures up to approximately 1100 °C, enabling calcination, salt fusion and evaporation of aqueous or acidic solutions. Their flared shape with flat or rounded bottom promotes efficient heat exchange.
Porcelain also stands out for its low absorption coefficient, making it particularly suited to gravimetric analyses requiring stable and reproducible tare values.
For a consistent preparation chain, pair the porcelain dish with a porcelain mortar for prior grinding and a plastic desiccator for post-calcination storage.
