Mortar

The mortars offered by AllChimie are designed for grinding, trituration and homogenisation of solids in the laboratory. Paired with their pestle, they reduce the particle size of a sample prior to analysis, synthesis or mixture preparation.

Depending on the material, mortars offer performance tailored to each application: porcelain for versatility and standard chemical resistance, agate for contamination-sensitive samples, fused silica for elemental purity, or metallic materials for hard samples.

The range covers several diameters and capacities to match the volume of processed sample.

The mortar generally opens the preparation chain: the ground sample is then transferred using a scoop or spatula to an evaporating dish for thermal treatment, or to a watch glass for weighing. The porcelain mortar remains the versatile reference of the range.
