The range offers several diameters and capacities to fit the balance used and sample type. The low-form weighing bottles, with wide openings, are particularly suitable for powdery samples requiring easy spatula access.
During analytical weighing, the sample ground in a mortar is transferred with a scoop or spatula onto the watch glass, weighed on an analytical balance, then dissolved in a volumetric flask via a funnel.
